Operation Rainbow Bridge
The rainbow in many cultures is a symbol of hope. As world human consumption grows beyond its sustainable annual amount at a faster and faster pace, humanity will move higher and higher on a precipice represented by the Expansion Climax on this graph. Two of many possible future paths are shown. If an effective intervention can be designed and implemented, humanity may avoid the environmental and social catastrophes that would force the critical variables into rapid decline into the bottom of the valley. Operation Rainbow Bridge symbolizes a path across this valley that will decline, but not as far, nor as fast, with less destruction, and with a faster recovery. |
